Highlands Weekend: Part Two

This is at the beginning of our hike up to "Old Man of Storr". There was a scary little forest we had to walk through and I was just so scared!--okay not really, but it looked awesome.
While hiking I casually glanced behind me to find this lovely view and I just wanted to stand there all day not moving. I love Scotland! Sooooo beautiful!

But this is to prove that I really was there :)

So here is what it looks like--"Old Man of Storr" He's a beaut. This was probably the most beautiful hike I've been on--although I do love Arches and Southern Utah too. But I love all the green and the fog here--you'll seen in the next picture. But I plan on going on another hike for sure--a munro is what they call a mountain here that is over 3,000 feet or somthing--so I'll do one of those.

You can see the fog coming in this picture--it got thicker than this though--it was really cool to watch. I love all the rocks breaking apart--it proves that it's really old. The rocks here were cut by glaciers.

I debated on whether or not to put this picture in--but I figure why not--it's just me in deep thought on top a big rock :)
