All six of us interns, plus Rich's cousin Adam and our friend Sarah, went on a trip to the Highlands. We left Friday afternoon (two cars) and drove up to Skye. We arrived there at about 12:30 at night and all the hostiles were closed--the boys had planned on camping anyway--but us girls had to sleep in the car. You may notice also that I'm the only one with a crusty look on my face in that picture. So here it goes with more pictures and explanations....
So late at night we were driving to Skye and suddenly ran into this: Eilean Donan Castle! We saw it and Nichole (she was driving) immediately pulled over and we all got our cameras out. It was so beautiful. Then we went up closer and got better pictures. Afterwards we continued to Skye and slept in the car--oh fun.
Tiffany, Nichole and I slept in the back of this tiny van. We were very close and I don't think any of us slept very well--but it wasn't so bad--looking back--I was pretty ornery at the time I must admit though.
So the next morning we headed toward the hills for a lovely hike and ran into some sheep along the way--I think they're more hairy here :) It was funny--we tried chasing them for a while--we're weird I guess.
