Here is the beautiful pathway that lead to our first castle visit.
Tiffany and I posing infront of the first castle we came to. Unfortunately it was closed--but we walked all around the outside of it. It was such a beautiful area! We were out in the country so I got to drive for a while on the left side--it was great!
Same castle, but on the other side. It's not a very big castle--but I wish we could have gone inside.
Someone caught me sitting by myself with the fuzzy wind blown hair. I zoomed in to get a closer look and it was soooo scary :)
John, myself, Tiffany and Nichole. We were leaving the first castle and got a group picture on that beautiful little road leading to the castle.
This is the second castle we came to--or ruins of a castle I should say. There was no one there so we got to tour the ruins by ourselves.
Inside the castle ruins--this is the main hall way and there are rooms on each side. There are holes in the walls and ceilings everywhere and green growing everywhere--it's really pretty I think. I tried to imagine what it used to look like, and I'm sure I would have liked to live there--maybe.
Here we are standing outside the Dal Keith Chapel. It was the nicest ward I've been to in a long time. You could tell everyone knew eachother really well. We almost want to go to that ward instead of Edinburgh--but we wont, don't worry.
John and Nichole standing outside the chapel... and wait, donde' esta Liz?
This is our friend Mary pointing in the background--we slept over at her house the night before and it was soooo nice compared to what we've been living in. We could walk around with our shoes off and had a clean bathroom and beds--oh it was nice. Anyway, we played that mormon card game "And it came to Pass" and it's really kind fun and she was just hilarious--one of those people always cracking jokes and she has a very contagious laugh--she's English. She didn't let us take a picture--but Nichole got one without her knowing it :)
So after that lovely fast Sunday we were starving and made a delicious meal in our new apartment. This place is sooo nice. It's very modern and has everything we need. We can walk around with our shoes off here comfortably too and it's just such better living conditions.
Cheers! We're toasting some juice stuff that Mary gave us to our new place--we're trying to look "posh" here. haha.
