SNP Conference

Here we (John, Nichole, Me and Rich) standing in the lobby at the Scottish Nationalist Party (SNP) convention. In this picture we're about to go in to hear the party leader, Alex Salmond, give his speech. It was a pretty big deal because there is an election next spring and the speech was awesome.










On the left is Party Leader Alex Salmond and on the right is Depute Leader Nicola Sturgeon. Alex works down at Westminster and Nicola works up here and is first to question the First Minister, Jack McConnell, every week at the First Minister Questions. It's pretty cool to watch.

Here are all the SNP Members of Scottish Parliament (MSPs). They introduced them all before Alex Salmond's speech.

Here I am with SNP Leader Alex Salmond, Nichole and Tiffany. This is in the lobby after Alex gave his speech. He's a really nice guy and after I introduced myself he actually remembered talking to me on the phone once when I was working in the office. It had been a while, so I was impressed.

Here all us interns are with our boss. It goes: Rich, Nichole, John Fellows, Me and John. John Fellows has been really busy with everything because of next springs elections. He's a cool guy though and we like working with him.

Here is Rich, John, MSP Brian Adam, Nichole and Myself in the lobby. Brian Adam is the guy who arranged the internships I believe--at least with BYU. He is actually a member of the church. He's from Aberdeen, about two hours north of here. Very nice guy and very helpful to us interns.
