I flew into London with Nichole early Saturday morning. We went to our hostile, bought "Wicked" tickets and then went to town--trying to see as much as we could in the one day we had. This is a picture of me when I first arrived, standing under the Underground sign--an amazing metro/rail system--that's how we got around all day.

Here I am standing infront of Big Ben and West Minster. Nichole said it reminded here of Peter Pan :) You may notice the same unsure smile on my face the whole time--I try not to have the same facial expression in every picture--but what can you do?
Oh my goodness! Buckingham Balace! It was so unreal being there. In London and Paris--I just didn't quite feel like I was really there. But it was fabulous--we didn't get to see the changing of the guards or anything--but I did get a picture of one.

Let us in! Me and Nichole right against the Buckingham Palace gate.

This is a statue in front of Buckingham Palace--I tried my best to immitate it--How did I do?

This is our friend Jeff--he worked in the press office at the Scottish Nationalist Party for a week or two and now he's working down at West Minster in London. We called him while we were down there on the off chance that he wouldn't be busy. We went to lunch and shopping at Harrads.

But don't think we bought anything at Harrads--this is where people like Paris Hilton go shopping. It's very expensive and all designer clothing. It was fun to look at though.

Nichole and I standing outside the theatre, about to watch "Wicked"!

This is the stage for the broadway play "Wicked". It plays off the Wizard of Oz--it's the Wicked Witch of the West and Glenda the Good Witch's story growing up. It's just supposed to be funny--and it really is. It's funny and amazing--I bought the soundtrack right after cause the music is phenomenal! I'm hoping I can go see Phantom of the Opera in London before I leave too. I think I will :) I'm now addicted to Broadway. This was definitely the highlight of our day in London. Oh, but we did get ripped off--we paid some shop on the street £45 per ticket when the face value was really £20. We found out right before the play started--we weren't very happy. But it was still worth it seeing the play :)
