Rosslyn Chapel

Oh, the famous DaVinci Code chapel. It was very interesting:
The outside is being covered because the weather is ruining the building. They pan to fully restore the chapel.
A famous pillar in the chapel--the apprentice mason who carved it was killed (supposedly) by his master because his master wanted to do this pillar.

Inside Rosslyn--it's really pretty small. The window aren't stained glass--but painted--there's an interesting fact for ya.

John and I found this castle down the road from Rosslyn and we're pretty sure it's where they are at the end of the DaVinci Code. It's actually lived in and I'm pretty sure we were trespassing--but it was awesome :)

There is a wall just standing there and it's deteriorating cause I think it's made of sandstone--but someone has put some bricks up here for support.

The best year to be born--just a random stone in the wall I found.
