I swear I only photoshopped this a little bit--It's in the Carlton Hill Cemetary--really close to my flat--I just decided to stop in when I took a walk by myself Saturday afternoon.
Random... Statue of Abraham Lincoln in the same cemetary--it's in memory of Scottish American soldiers.
This is the City Centre in Edinburgh--from this view you can see them setting up for the winter celebrations and carnivals. They're building an ice rink there too--I'm way excited about that.
I'm not sure if any of you have heard of Greyfriars Bobby--but it is a disney movie--anyway, Bobby was a dog and it's master died and he lived in the cemetary where his master was burried and the community adopted him yada yada yada--it's a lovely story. And it's a true one--I watched the movie and it was filmed here too. So there's the statue of Bobby!
I met up with my friend Sarah Irving--whom we met through Rich--and we went out to eat at this place called Frankenstein--it was good--but the atmoshpere was the cool part--there was the Rugby game on with everyone watching--and then every once in a while Frankensteing would come out on a bed with chains and sit up and then go back in his hatch--good fun.
